Heart Ache

the window paine

Oh! How I wish you were here with me,
For my thoughts are turning, like the thrashing sea.
And these glass mirrors known as eyes,
Have swelled and shattered, been torn with whys,
And I'm hurting now, locked and alone.
They cut my heart clear to the bone.
And God how it aches
Now, it breaks in two.
In moments or seconds,
My life is through -
