Whisperings, shavings
the bark of a tree,
An echo, a shadow,
the darkness and me
Fragments and ripples
waves from the sea.
Negatives, remnants,
uncertainty, thee.
Jumbled together
spilled into one
Aftermath, untruth,
the crust and the crumb.
